DORMITION FAST

Just a reminder that we will be fasting from meat, fish, and dairy (with a couple of minor exceptions - details to follow) from August 1st to 14th for the Dormition of the Theotokos (feast day, August 15th). As this is one of the year's four major fasting periods, it is also a time to go to confession - usually after Great Vespers, though confession after Little Compline is also a possibility.
